Transformations in the Glocal Era: Global Vision & Local Innovation is an academic forum hosted by School of Design, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts in Shanghai. Gathering domestic and international experts, scholars, educators from design universities, and practitioners of social innovation design, this academic event focuses on exploring the transformation of design education in the new era, the transformation of art healing and health design in the new era, and the transformation of cultural empowerment of communities in the new era. It aims to explore how to support social innovation and educational transformation under the intertwined backdrop of global perspectives and local co-creation.

Based on the concept and the objectives of the forum, we were trying to conduct an visual narrative through the thoughts on: "Globalized local spots, localized global effects. Individuals with mutual differences under the influence of the whole, a collective composed of individuals with distinct personalities. Blurred boundaries, clear compositions. Changes in motion from a long-term perspective, and a frozen state from a short-term perspective.

As a result, we have done the visual identity system design through series posters, various on-site visual touchpoints, printed collaterals, and welcoming motion design for the event.
