Co-founded by Sheng Ling (Southwest University) and Cari (New York University), Threshold Studio is a spatial design practice dedicated to creating immersive, dynamic experiences across luxury hospitality, boutique retail, and high-end residential sectors through systemic insight.
设计并非单纯的空间填充，而是一种深层次的认知语言与感知媒介。在本次视觉系统升级中，我们将“空间蓝图 (Floor Plan)”的核心意象深度植入品牌基因，实现了从平面语言到立体空间的认知跨越。
动态平面映射
整体布局如同微缩的建筑平面图，不仅是对事务所在空间设计实践中全维度专业能力的致意，更体现了设计从二维逻辑向三维感官无限延伸的可能性。
秩序之骨
中文字体“直间”采用极简的等线体定制设计，以克制的横竖转折勾勒出建筑的秩序感与逻辑性，象征着我们对空间深层结构的严谨推敲。阈值 (Threshold) 的隐喻
英文标识采用矩阵式排列，呼应了设计流程中的系统性考量。字母间的张力与呼吸感，具象化了空间与人体感知产生化学反应的“阈值”地带，即人、物、场交织的瞬间。动态平面映射

In this visual upgrade, we have deeply embedded the concept of the "Spatial Blueprint" into the visual identity, achieving a cognitive bridge between two-dimensional graphics and three-dimensional environments:
Structure and Bone
The Chinese characters “直间” (Zhí Jiān) are rendered in a minimalist, mono-line typeface. The sharp horizontal and vertical strokes outline a sense of architectural order, symbolizing our rigorous planning of a space’s underlying structure.
The Metaphor of "Threshold"
The English name adopts a matrix-style arrangement, echoing the logic of "systemic consideration" within our design process. The tension and negative space between the letters represent the "threshold"—the precise zone where space meets human perception.
Dynamic Perception
The overall layout functions as a miniaturized architectural floor plan. It not only represents our comprehensive capabilities spanning architecture, interior, visual, and product design, but also embodies the infinite possibilities of transitioning from the plane to the solid.

空间是流动的诗篇，视觉则是语言的先声。在“直间”的视角里，每一根线条的落位、每一块色彩的排布，都是对空间潜力的极致摸索。我们持续通过设计的“蓝图”，构建身体、场域与感知之间的动态链接，重新定义设计的深度。
Space is a language in motion, and visual identity is the herald of that language. From the perspective of "Threshold", every placement of a line is an exploration of spatial potential. From Shanghai to wider Asia, they continue to utilize the "blueprint" of design to construct a dynamic link between the physical body and perception.
