以见微知著的视角,我们惊奇的意识到各种面包内部经过发酵和烘培而成的天然肌理和气孔,像极了现代社会中的人与城市。在充满压力、快节奏的、紧张的现代工作与生活中,城市的规划和人的工作与生活,都应该像面包一样同时拥有紧张与空隙,张弛有度,有呼吸,才能变得更加美味。

这是一本我们在工作室的委托性项目之外进行的自发性研究与视觉游戏的项目,最终以一本印刷物的形式呈现在大家面前。由于这个创作过程也恰好包含了工作室中从巴黎前来的法国实习生的参与,我们也将这本书编辑成了中、英、法三国语言的版本。

From a perspective that discerns the profound through the trivial, we are struck with wonder by the natural textures and air pockets formed through fermentation and baking within various types of bread—so reminiscent of the interplay between people and cities in modern society. In the high-pressure, fast-paced, and tense rhythm of contemporary work and life, both urban planning and human existence ought to emulate bread: simultaneously structured and porous, with a balance of tension and space. Only by allowing room to breathe can life, like bread, become truly nourishing and flavorful.

This is a spontaneous research and visual game that we conducted outside of the commissioned projects in our studio, and it is finally presented to everyone in the form of a printed staff. Since this creative process also happened to involve the participation of our French intern who came from Paris, we also edited this book into multilingual version in Chinese, English and French.
