Playground Sans

始于工作室在 2021 年进行的一个委托项目的契机，我们尝试设计一款将大小写字母混合的、笔画圆润的、造型现代的趣味字型。经过重新的设计调整与整理，我们设计了这套最终命名为 Playground Sans 的拉丁字体，并开始使用在了工作室的一系列对内和对外的视觉物料之中。回顾设计过程，尤其是 2022 年初在上海的相当长一段时间的居家办公期间，对我们所生活的这个世界的空间、时间、逻辑尺度体验与感受的不明晰与混沌交织，在某种程度上刚好成为了我们开发这套字体的风格指引……

The project began as a commission for the studio in 2021, where we attempted to design a playful, rounded, modern typeface with a mix of upper and lower case letters. After reworking and reorganizing, we created the Latin typeface, eventually named Playground Sans, and began using it in a series of internal and external visual materials for our the studio. Looking back on the design process, especially during a long period of work-from-home in Shanghai in early 2022, the uncertainty and chaos of the experience and feeling of the world we live in in terms of space, time, and logical scale somehow served as a stylistic guide for the development of this typeface…
